Entrepreneurship course creates industry event
A trade show that formed part of a course on what it takes to be an entrepreneur is to become an annual event.
The Discovering Entrepreneurial Opportunities course at the London Business School (LBS) put students into groups of six or seven, and then asked them to come up with a new service or product, conduct market research and develop a prototype.
At the end of the project, the ideas were presented to the Enterprise 100 group of business angels at a trade show.
The scheme forms part of the LBS' MBA course. Previously it had been an optional module, but proved so popular that is has become a core part of the MBA programme. The trade show will also become an annual event, The Guardian reported.
