Success for homemade soup company
A former pub manageress who set up her own homemade soup company is to feature on TV.
Christine Peart set up the Weardale Soup Company two years ago. The company proved so successful that she is to feature on the ITV programme The Dales Diary, as reported by icNewcastle.
The film crew will film all aspects of the soup production, including vegetable preparation, blending, labelling and packaging.
Weardale Soup Company offers a range of flavours and has won an award for its Tomato and Red Pepper with Melted Wensleydale Cheese soup. The company is registered with the Organic Food Federation.
