Showcase for women start ups
Aspiring women business owners are to be encouraged to enter the world of enterprise at a major conference in Harrogate on 8 March.
The Make It Your Business 2007 conference hopes to attract more than 200 aspiring and actual businesswomen.
The conference will celebrate the achievements of successful businesswomen and encourage others to emulate their success. It is being organised by Women in Enterprise (WiE) and York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
Laura Morrison, WiE project manager, told the York Press:
"Last year's conference in Harrogate was a landmark in the development of WiE and demonstrated just how great a need there is for our services among women wanting to start their own business."
