Enterprise Launch Pad goes mobile
A business support service is going mobile in a bid to attract young businesspeople.
Launch Pad is based in the north east. It's basically a van containing information and gadgets to help business owners and aspiring start ups, and is funded by £150,000 from the Regional Development Agency One NorthEast.
Enterprise workshops will be run from the van at schools, colleges and youth clubs, and in rural areas, community and shopping centres.
The project hopes to "bridge the enterprise gap" in the region by helping to raise the aspirations of people who had not considered becoming self-employed, icNewcastle reported.
