Dating website in multi-million pound deal
An Internet dating agency that was set up for £250 has been sold for £27.3 million.
DatingDirect.com, a leading UK online dating agency, has been bought by French firm Meetic.
Darren Richards and Andrew Pike set up DatingDirect in 1999 - and the sale represents a return of almost 11 million per cent on their original investment, icBirmingham reported.
