Climate change challenge
Businesses need to make a "fundamental change" to the way they approach climate change issues, according to the Trade and Industry Secretary, who says it's a major opportunity for commerce.
Alistair Darling believes 100,000 jobs could be created by "the greatest business opportunity of our age".
He said:
"The next Bill Gates will be the entrepreneur who defines the new green industries."
Environmental businesses are worth £25 billion to the UK economy and employ 400,000 people in 17,000 firms, Ananova reported.
