Around three-quarters of British businesses have banned Christmas decorations because they fear they will be sued by non-Christian workers.
Law firm Peninsula said the wave of political correctness has now spread to the workplace, and although most employers were sceptical, they were acting in their own best interests in case they were sued.
Meanwhile, staff at London’s Tower Hamlets Council and the Royal Bank of Scotland have also been banned from climbing on furniture to hang decorations, in case they fall and sue their employers, Ananova reported.
