Funding pitch opportunity for Scots businesses
Around 40 European venture capitalists will be in Scotland in the coming week to hear pitches from technology businesses looking for funding.
The Scottish Tech Tour will be visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling, where 17 enterprises will have the opportunity to make their pitch at Dragons' Den-style events.
The venture capitalists, including representatives from Siemens and Index, have around £1 billion under management.
Event president and serial entrepreneur Ian Ritchie told The Scotsman:
"It's a very rare opportunity, to get an audience of 30 to 40 venture capitalists in front of Scottish ambitious companies, there's no other way this could happen."
