Greener than the rest
You could take a tip from Britain's biggest retail group if you're thinking about going green.
The Tesco branch in Wick, northern Scotland, uses wind turbines to power its checkouts and rainwater to wash its home delivery vans. The store itself is built with as many locally sourced and recycled products as possible.
Tesco’s Lucy Neville-Rolfe told ITN:
"We expect this to reduce the carbon footprint of the store by half. Not only that, it will allow us and others to take advantage of the lessons learned in years to come."
