Training boost for businesses
Small firms in Yorkshire and Humberside are to receive training and support to help them improve their performance and productivity.
The project, offering a £1,200 package of business support, including two days' worth of professional consultancy, is the result of an agreement between the Learning & Skills Council (LSC) and Yorkshire & Humberside Assessment Ltd (YHAL).
It will link together the Investors in People (IiP) programme with the LSC's Train to Gain Initiative.
Businesses employing fewer than 200 people will be eligible to take part, Leeds Today reported.
