Anthony Nash, 62, has been working on the idea for Silver Screen Television for four years and is now looking for business partners ahead of next year's launch.

He told icWales:

"With mortgages paid off, children having left home and salaries higher than ever before, this market represents a conservative spending power of some £240 billion - and we are as free as birds.

"We over-50s have the same outlook as 35-year-olds did 20 years ago."
