Avon relaunches with an eye on the male market
In a world where cosmetics are big business, door-to-door Avon ladies (and gentlemen) are struggling to compete.
After seeing its company shares fall in value by 30% in the last 18 months, the global group is to start advertising its products again - something it hasn't done on a sustained basis in the UK since the 1960s.
It has a new motto - 'A company for women with a few good men'.
As well as selling male grooming products, around 5% of the workforce is made up of Avon men, such as Ross Craig from Sunderland.
He told the BBC he has a potential annual income of £90,000 from the business.
