PC nasties via video
The popularity of YouTube and its ilk has been in the news a lot lately, and some businesses have been trying to raise their profile by posting videos to the web.
But beware of what you download if you want to watch other people's efforts.
Never ones to miss a trick, it seems the cyber criminals have cottoned on to the popularity of watching videos online and have started loading viruses and spyware on to the extras you sometimes need to download to be able to play a film.
The extra software, called codecs, are often 'boobytrapped' with nasties, the BBC reported.
