i-start is aimed at young people with ideas in the digital media and ICT sectors. It was put together by business incubator Digitalinc and law firm Gregory Abrams Davidson.

i-start's Tony Hughes told icLiverpool:

"There's been an encouraging response to i-start from those with a start up business idea, to those interested in supporting young companies on Merseyside in the information technology and digital media industries.

"Our goal is to put promising start ups and pre-start ups on a fast-track growth route to market."
