Priceyourmeal.com started in Glasgow in the spring and is now moving to Edinburgh.

The idea is simple - users bid for meals at posh restaurants or haggle with the owners to get the price down.

Managing director Sukhvir Dhillon told The Scotsman:

"People like being involved in auctions and usually if they don't win one, they come back and try again. As well as giving choice, it puts a bit of fun into booking a meal."
