Cash for childcare in small businesses
The Government has put together a package of funding for small and medium-sized enterprises to pay for staff childcare.
The £16.8 million will be dished out next year by the Regional Development Agencies (RDAs).
Children, Young People and Families Minister Beverley Hughes said:
"Most good employers want to help families balance work and family life. Some are already providing childcare to make this happen - we want to take this further."
The funding will be allocated in areas where there is most demand, such as places where there is a high rate of economic growth or areas that are being regenerated.
