Linking up with Tesco
Small food suppliers are pitching their products to the biggest of the big boys today.
Among those hoping to win a contract at the Tesco Link Day in Hertfordshire is Merseyside-based family butcher Muffs of Bromborough.
The firm has already secured contracts with Tesco's rivals, ASDA and Sainsbury.
Its products include pork and mallard pie, and pork and pigeon pie, icLiverpool reported.
