Ladies of the night boost economy
Female entrepreneurs - in the form of prostitutes - are boosting the Greek economy.
Apparently, it's around 25% bigger than previously thought - Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is forecast to rise from a value of £122 billion last year to £131 billion this year, Ananova reported.
For the first time, authorities are counting the revenue raised by the 'black' economy.
Manolis Kontopyrakis, from the Greek statistics service, said:
"The revised GDP will include some money from illegal activities such as money from cigarette and drinks smuggling, prostitution and money laundering."
