Hopes for TV website
You can't have escaped the hype surrounding Google's decision to buy YouTube for $1.65 billion - and now a graphic designer is hoping to surf a similar wave to success with his website offering.
Tape It Off The Internet (TIOTI) is the brainchild of Paul Cleghorn, who came up with the idea when he went looking online for the next episode of The West Wing to download.
He told The Guardian:
"I thought it would be easy. It's not, it's a nightmare."
So he put together the website, helping people find what they want to watch and telling them when the shows are available online.
He added:
"I'm still astonished no one had joined all the dots and done it already."
TIOTI is currently being tested by around 11,000 users and is expected to go fully live by the end of the year.
