Awards recognise contribution to healthy diet
Applications are being invited from Welsh businesses and groups that have made a positive impact on the diet or healthy eating habits of local communities.
The 2007 'Awards for Food Action Locally' are run by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and are open to all individuals and organisations seeking to improve the diet of people in their local area.
There will be five winners, and each will receive £2,000 for investment into their project. Entries must be received by 15 December. There is more information, plus details of how to apply, on the FSA website.
