Welsh smoking ban date announced
Welsh businesses are starting to gear up for the forthcoming ban on smoking in public places, which will come into force on 2 April next year.
The date is the same as that chosen in Northern Ireland. The date for the English ban hasn't yet been announced. The Scottish ban has been in place since earlier this year.
The ban means people will not be allowed to smoke in "enclosed" public places - and a consultation is still going on over the definition of "enclosed", the BBC reported.
