Sunandan and Yugesh Walia run Birmingham-based Endboard Productions, which has been making factual films for the BBC and Channel 4 for the last 20 years.

But the firm has received two grants from Screen West Midlands to commission the scripts for two movies.

Yugesh told icBirmingham:

"We were brought up on a diet of Bollywood and have always had that in our hearts.

"We've really always wanted to make movies."
