Pub website outrage

Pub licensees are furious that their venues have been added to a controversial website without their permission.

The site - Pissed.co.uk, which advertises itself as a "survival guide to beer, kebabs and women" - has been criticised as promoting binge drinking.

Now a number of pubs that appear on the site, often without their licensees' knowledge or consent, say they're outraged.

Alison Smith, from the Bar One Nine in Keynsham, Somerset, told The Publican:

"I'm really upset we've appeared on this website without our consent. I think the pub industry in general suffers from these sorts of websites."

InBev UK, which makes Stella Artois lager, is also upset because an image of the beer has appeared on the website without its permission.
