What the forms arriving at pubs all over the UK don't say is that licensees will have to pay to be included.

The guide is published by Swiss firm NovaChannel AG, which now says it'll sue Adrian Larner, of the Calthorpe Arms in central London.

He told The Publican:

"A couple of years ago I received one of these forms in the post. I ticked the boxes and signed. Then I got the bill and wrote to cancel.

"They say they have sent it to a debt recovery agency now."

Criminal proceedings are ongoing against NovaChannel AG in Switzerland over alleged "dubious business practices".
