Smile - it wins people over
Making your staff smile will help them make your customers smile and therefore earn you more money, according to a business guru.
That's the theory of Vinny Stabile, who is 'vice president of people' at New York company JetBlue Airways.
He was speaking at a seminar held in Gateshead to teach businesses to win more customers, organised in partnership with The Journal.
Vinny said:
"I want people whose default position is smiling. If you get people whose attitude is right, then I think you can teach them everything else."
