Return of the Postal Order
eBay is helping Postal Orders to a new lease of life.
Sales of Postal Orders have hit a record £104 million and the Post Office says nearly one in three is being used to pay for mail order or eBay items.
Spokesman Kevin McAdam said:
"We have seen sales of Postal Orders for eBay purchases alone almost double in the last two years."They now account for 7% of all Postal Order sales and make up a significant proportion of the 30% used for online shopping and catalogue orders."
