The system, called Venturing Wales, was developed at Cardiff University so that firms can work together, see the same images on their computer screens and communicate between themselves and their clients instantly.

The system, which is accessed online, is being used by Iota Sigma Group, which designs and develops electronic equipment.

Managing director Ian Stead told icWales:

"This is exactly what we need. At last we have found the missing link that will make networking easy to manage and which will keep the customer fully informed at all times."
