Competition for young social entrepreneurs

Young entrepreneurs with a social conscience are being urged to enter a competition which could net them a laptop computer and more than £3,000 in training and mentoring.

Enterprise Challenge is open to people aged between 13 and 30, who live, work or study in Leeds. It's been put together by the Leeds Co-operative Society and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Leeds.

The competition is divided into two age groups - 13 to 18 and 19 to 30. The winner of each category will receive a laptop and the overall victor will also scoop the training.

Judges are looking for ideas that will benefit the community and/or environment, as well as being viable business opportunities.
