Badger's business bonus
Ruth Badger - runner-up in the BBC's The Apprentice TV series - has been passing on the lessons she learnt from Sir Alan Sugar to potential entrepreneurs.
"The Badger" has been meeting 16 unemployed people who are planning to start their own businesses in the West Midlands.
The event was organised by the Pertemps Employment Alliance (PEA), which was set up to deliver Government-funded Welfare to Work initiatives.
Spokeswoman Sue Gaskell told icBirmingham:
"We have many clients who have been unemployed for long periods but who have developed good business plans and just need the right advice and support to take the first steps on a successful career in business."PEA has helped many young businesses to prosper and Ruth provided motivation and inspiration for our group of budding entrepreneurs."
