Time for an e-break?
Virgin Money has introduced an 'e-break' system at its Norwich headquarters, which allows wokers 15 minutes at 11am to surf the web, e-mail or complete personal tasks online.
AOL reports how the scheme came about, after an independent survey showed that 56% of the 1,223 workers questioned said they bought and sold goods online during work time.
This corresponds with the 'homing from work' trend we reported on earlier this week.
Virgin's senior communications manager thinks this could work for other businesses too:
"We are saying we know what goes on at work so let's embrace it but not do it all day."
