An enduring concept
A new spin on the bull bar - but this time one that could save lives - is being patented by a British firm.
Concept, which works with Land Rover, has spent more than ten years developing the energy-absorbing plastic device.
Unlike metal bull bars, the plastic 'Endura' protects pedestrians from the hard parts of a vehicle in the event of an accident.
Concept's Ian Finney told icBirmingham:
"This new system is vastly safer than conventional bull bars and safer than if there was nothing on the front on a car at all."
