Student's earning idea
A student is trying to clear his debt with a website designed to help others manage their money.
Simon Dance, a 22-year-old travel and tourism student at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, owes around £12,000.
So he started clearstudentdebt.co.uk, which is a paid-for site with links to banks and other financial institutions. Every time a student signs up to a product after following a link from Simon's site, he receives a payment of around £10.
He told The Times:
"It got pretty stressful so I started researching to find a way of dealing with it all. Then I realised how few people knew about the information, so I started planning the site."
