A taste for business

A teenage entrepreneur is receiving mentoring from a tycoon who also started out in business before he reached 20.

Glyn Connolly, 17, won the Biz Idol U18 competition run by Business Week Tyne and Wear and scooped a prize including "tea with a tycoon" - and support and guidance from Steven Bell.

Steven, who is now 30, started his first business as a teenager and now owns computer parts firm Moblix, which has a £130 million annual turnover.

Glyn's idea is to open a healthy juice café-bar - and Steven, 30, is advising him on raising investment, icNewcastle reported.
