Talking his way to the top

A venture inspired by David Beckham will be floated on the stock exchange early next year - netting its founder a multi-million pound windfall.

Talk Me Through It is a company that was started four years ago by Crispin Thomas, and aims to help confused customers make their gadgets work properly.

He told the Daily Telegraph:

"With the advent of the first Beckham phone, I realised mobiles were suddenly getting more complex and people would need support to get them up and running and use the new features.

"All gadget companies have enormous problems of customers bringing back products and it's not because they are broken but they won't read the handbook."

The firm is expected to be worth around £25 million when it floats on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
