That's the advice from software security firm Sophos, which says none of the current crop of viruses, Trojans or worms affect Apple Mac computers.

Spokesman Graham Cluely said:

"It seems likely that Macs will continue to be the safer place for computer users for some time to come."

Sophos's latest Security Threat Management Report says new Trojans are now the biggest online security threat - outweighing viruses and worms by four to one.
