Smoking row rumbling
A row's started over the impact of anti-smoking legislation on businesses in Scotland.
Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) Scotland says the ban is working - "without the social and economic meltdown our opponents predicted", The Scotsman reported.
Spokeswoman Maureen Moore added:
"It would also appear that many pubs and licensed venues in Scotland have seen new customers."
But the Scottish Licensed Trade Association (SLTA) isn't convinced.
A spokesman said:
"There is still a lot of disquiet among our members. We maintain there will be more losers than winners. ASH are talking premature nonsense."
