Small but perfectly formed
A new pub has come up with an excellent marketing ploy - it's trying to get into the record books as the smallest in the world.
The Signal Box in Cleethorpes, which opens this weekend, is actually inside an old signal box and is just 64 sq ft or 8ft x 8ft.
There is room for a counter and four bar stools, but a beer garden means it can accommodate more customers.
Landlord Andrew McCall told The Publican:
"We are so small that some of the bigger drinks manufacturers will not fit equipment for us because they think that we will not do enough trade."However, we expect to be getting people who turn up for a drink simply because they want to have their photograph taken in the world's smallest pub."
