Pure business for entrepreneur

A part-time business psychology lecturer is taking a leaf out of her own book by launching her own venture.

Lianne Miller, who is also studying for a PhD in entrepreneurship at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, spotted a gap in the market for teenage skincare.

She's put together Young and Pure, a natural skincare range for girls aged 10 to 18.

Lianne told the Eastern Daily Press that being unable to find a suitable skincare range for her 11-year-old daughter was behind her business launch.

She said:

"It all came about quite by accident. I couldn't find anything specifically for her age. I found the current skincare market only caters for two ends of the spectrum - babies and very young children, and women."
