Get off to a Flying Start
Wannabe entrepreneurs in the creative industries are being given a helping hand to get off to a Flying Start.
The Flying Start initiative has been put together by the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship (NCE) and the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
Sixty potential entrepreneurs will be chosen for a three-day intensive course, including workshops on public relations, team-building and intellectual property.
Flying Start director Lorna Collins said:
"This tailored Flying Start programme will help them understand the business context of their designs, provide them with commercial awareness and show them that the support is there to make running a business a truly viable career option now."
