Far flung porridge
A porridge entrepreneur is hoping to go global.
Stoat's Porridge Bars, an Edinburgh enterprise set up by Tony Stone and two friends to provide commuters with a healthy breakfast, is aiming to open franchises in Canada and New Zealand, as well as south of the Scottish border.
The business has also been active at music events and festivals in the year since it was launched.
Tony told The Scotsman:
"It's been a great year and we are always adding more events and people are now approaching us too and asking us to go to their events."Events like music festivals are really lucrative to us because we know there is going to be a huge number of people there that are our own target market."
