Cost cutting telecoms system

A telecoms and broadband company has come up with what it claims is the complete solution for people working from home.

Remote Worker, which is a package containing broadband, a business conferencing system and voicemail, has been put together by Voice4IP.

It says the system gives homeworkers the same functionality as corporate phone systems, while cutting costs for employers.

Managing director Phil Wedgwood said:

"Many employees select their own broadband and expense it.

"They use a mixture of mobile and their own fixed line for remote communication, which does not duplicate the office environment - and makes it almost impossible for businesses to control the costs of teleworking."
