The Connecting Somerset project is planning to exploit all of the possibilities offered by the Internet in the Next Generation Broadband (NGB) initiative.

NGB will bring even faster connections via wireless and fibre optic cable technology.

County councillor Paul Buchanan said:

"The council is working with its partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors to create a modern and dynamic business environment in which business can flourish."
