How safe is your firm?

Legislation isn't stopping the high toll of workplace deaths and injuries, and employers are "cutting corners", it's been claimed.

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy said there is "massive room" for improvement when it comes to creating safer working environments.

Spokeswoman Sarah Bazin said:

"Despite the obligation on employers to conduct full risk assessments, there is still a daily toll of people injured, maimed or even killed as a result of work activity."

Its league table of the UK's most dangerous places to work was topped by Warwickshire, whereas the City of London came out as the safest place to work.
