The Pure Package has scooped one BT's Essence of the Entrepreneur awards, for teaching cash-rich, time-poor Londoners how to eat properly.

It supplies nutritionally balanced boxes of meals on the doorstep - all by 6am. But such service doesn't come cheap with prices starting at £26.95 a day. Little wonder the firm counts celebrities such as X-Men actor Hugh Jackman among its customers.

Founder Jenny Irvine started her first business at the tender age of eight, selling her father's spare eggs to restaurants at home in the west of Ireland.
