From bedroom to boardroom
A catering business that was founded in a spare bedroom is celebrating its 15th anniversary - and an annual turnover of £50 million.
Charlton House was started by husband-and-wife team Tim and Robyn Jones, using a wallpaper pasting table as a desk and banana boxes as filing cabinets.
The couple received a £50-a-week Government enterprise allowance - but now the firm has customers including HM Treasury, Sony (UK) and Network Rail.
The company now employs 1,350 people across the UK, icBirmingham reported.
