Cider is top of the pops
A family firm is hoping to have a hit on its hands with the launch of three different flavours of cider.
Brothers Drinks - the Somerset-based firm run by four brothers, whose family invented Babycham - is hoping to persuade Britain to drink Pear Cider, Original Apple Cider and Strawberry Mixed Cider.
The family already owns a successful bottling plant but the firm is hoping for national success with the cider.
Normally, there is a captive audience for the drink at the annual Glastonbury Festival, where the brothers have had a stall for more than ten years. But the music extravaganza is having a year off - just when Brothers Drinks could have done with it as a showcase.
Managing director Matthew Showering told the Daily Telegraph:
"Last year there the attendance was 153,000 - that's a great marketing opportunity."
