Beating the booze spikers
Two cousins are hoping for a hit when they launch their simple device aimed at stopping revellers' drinks being spiked.
The Guardian is an anti-bacterial drinks holder, which is placed above toilets and urinals, so pubbers and clubbers can take their drinks with them when they go to the loo.
Dean and Luke Andrews were inspired to do something after Luke became a victim of a suspected drink spiking on a birthday night out.
The Guardian has been four years in development and the pair are convinced there is a big market for their invention.
Dean told icWales:
"There is a clear need for this product. We have had fantastic feedback from licensees, student unions, police and women's groups."
