Renu Kapila came up with Bollywoodbay after attending a friend's wedding.

She said:

"There can be three days of celebrations with a different outfit for each, but once it is over the clothes and accessories are put away and never brought out again.

"So I came up with an Internet auction place where Asians can buy and sell used and no-longer-wanted wares."

As well as the auction site, Bollywoodbay allows other businesses to create their own mini websites.
