An easy victory
A tiny takeaway firm has taken on the might of the Easy empire - and won.
Karl Khan has fought a three-year legal battle against easyGroup - which runs everything from airlines to Internet cafés - over the right to use the 'easy' name.
Now the giant corporation has conceded that Mr Khan did name his London firm EasyPizza first.
Mr Khan told This Is Money:"They used bully-boy tactics to frighten me into giving up the name.
"There are thousands of other businesses with easy in the name - they didn't invent the word."
easyGroup said it had backed down because "contrary to initial information we had", Mr Khan's business had been going for longer than it thought.
