Who's back in business
Fans who start ventures selling memorabilia could be in the money - especially if their business gets a publicity shot in the arm.
Alex Looseley-Saul has run The Who Shop in London - which is devoted to the fictional Timelord - for 22 years. But a resurgence of interest in Dr Who, coinciding with the programme's relaunch on BBC 1, has boosted her business.
She told The Sun:
"It's very good for us that the show is back on TV - lots of people who were fans years ago have now got kids themselves who they can buy for."
The shop also sells items globally via thewhoshop.com. Alex said: "We're getting orders from all over the world because the new series has been such an international hit."
